Camera angles and movement

Here is a video I made experimenting with different camera angles and movement

For the first media project, we decided to make a video where viewers are taken on a journey to explore the pervasive issue of bullying and its emotional toll on individuals. Where we decided that the ending of the video would be suicide and emotional and sad and everything bad.

Here's the explanation of every camera work + movement:

Medium: It merely shows the character but mainly shows the area and the environment of the school. Showing how the character was walking alone.

Zoom in: We used this technique to show what was written on the paper. "Die!" and "Ugly" to show what caused her sadness.

Close up: Zoomed in to her shoes during the last bit of the video to create a scene where she wanted to end her life and jumped.

Tracking: This is one of the few camera movement we chose to use. It is to make the viewer more involved as it makes it seem as if we the viewer are following the character.

Whip pan: As we saw the character walking in despair and sorrow the scene transitioned into where she decided to end her life.

Static: This technique is shown during the last bit of the video to create suspense and makes the viewer think what will happen next.

Thankyou!
